Robert Statham, Co-Founder/President -Career Counseling Services
Robert Statham, Career Advisor for Pathlight Career Counseling Inc. has been in the field of Employment & Counseling for over 15 years. He was awarded the Employment Specialist of the year in 2004 for the Rochester Area Employment Network and continues to forge positive relationships with area employers and companies in the local Rochester community. He is a seasoned Career Advisor who specializes in working with young people and assisting them in finding their career path. He is a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP), a national based credential through the Association of People Supporting Employment First. In addition, Robert is a talented Training and Organizational Specialist through his work with Heritage Christian Services. In this role, Robert provides training throughout New York State on employment services and best practice efforts in the area of preparing Individuals with disabilities to enter the workforce.
Len Statham, MS, CBP
Len Statham is the Director of Employment and Economic Self Sufficiency Initiatives with the New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services and Has over 15 years in the field of employment. He is a national SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the topic of employment and helped facilitate the adoption of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model of supported employment statewide in Utah, New Jersey, Wisconsin and Colorado.
Len also works at a national level on SAMHSA’s Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS-TACS) initiatives. This past year, Len has worked with several states to help them implement state-wide Supported Employment (SE), an evidence-based practice in helping people with disabilities obtain employment, and integrating peers into the SE workforce. In addition, he works on the National Development and Research Institutes Addiction Technology Transfer Center projects. These projects focus on the following issues: Creating a Culture of Employment and Economic Self-Sufficiency, Increasing the Use of Social Capital for People with Disabilities, and Operationalizing Employment Policy: From Research to Practice.
Len has a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from SUNY Empire State College and is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP). Len is also a Certified Benefits Planner as well as a published author.
